- 1 pound sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt and pepper.
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the steak cubes to the hot skillet in a single layer. Do not overcrowd the pan; cook in batches if necessary.
- Sear the steak for 1-2 minutes per side, until browned and cooked to your desired doneness.
- Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
- Add the minced garlic to the same skillet. Cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- Return the steak bites to the skillet. Toss to coat in the garlic butter.
- Stir in the chopped fresh parsley.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For medium-rare steak, aim for an internal temperature of 130-135°F (54-57°C).
- You can add a splash of white wine or lemon juice to the skillet after cooking the garlic for extra flavor.
- Serve with toothpicks for an appetizer, or over rice or pasta for a meal.
