This refreshing and bubbly champagne punch recipe uses fresh strawberries and is simple to prepare for your next celebration, shower, or brunch gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (750 ml) bottle chilled Champagne or dry sparkling wine
  • 1 cup strawberry puree (made from fresh or frozen strawberries)
  • 1/2 cup orange juice, chilled
  • 1/4 cup simple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 1 liter lemon-lime soda or club soda, chilled
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1/2 cup fresh grapes, halved
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the strawberry puree by blending fresh or thawed frozen strawberries until smooth. Strain if you prefer a seedless texture.
  2. In a large punch bowl, combine the strawberry puree, chilled orange juice, and simple syrup. Stir these base liquids together well.
  3. Just before serving, gently pour in the chilled Champagne and the lemon-lime soda or club soda. Stir very slowly to keep the carbonation.
  4. Add the sliced fresh strawberries, halved grapes, and orange slices to the punch bowl. You can also add a large block of ice to keep it cold without diluting it quickly.
  5. Serve immediately in glasses, making sure each serving gets some of the fruit garnish. This is an **easy party cocktail** that serves a crowd.

Notes

  • For a **make ahead punch**, combine the puree, juice, and syrup up to 24 hours in advance. Keep refrigerated and add the Champagne and soda just before guests arrive.
  • If you want a pink champagne punch, use a pink sparkling wine or add a splash of cranberry juice to the base mix.
  • To make a non-alcoholic version, substitute the Champagne with sparkling white grape juice or non-alcoholic sparkling cider.
