Make this simple, tangy, and creamy dill pickle dip for your next gathering. It requires minimal effort and is ready quickly.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped dill pickles
  • 1/4 cup pickle juice
  • 2 tablespoons dried dill weed
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the softened cream cheese in a medium mixing bowl. Beat with an electric mixer until smooth.
  2. Add the sour cream, chopped dill pickles, pickle juice, dried dill weed, and garlic powder to the bowl.
  3. Mix on low speed until all ingredients are just combined and the dip is creamy. Do not overmix.
  4. Taste the dip and add salt and pepper as needed.
  5. Cover the bowl and chill the dip in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to blend.
  6. Serve cold with crackers, chips, or vegetable sticks.

Notes

  • For a pickle wrap flavor, stir in 2 ounces of shredded cheddar cheese before chilling.
  • If you prefer a thicker dip, substitute half of the sour cream with plain Greek yogurt.
  • Chop the pickles very finely so they distribute evenly throughout the dip.
