Whip up this fresh and fruity peach salsa for a sweet and zesty kick. It is ready in just 10 minutes, making it the perfect, quick condiment for your next BBQ or gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups ripe peaches, diced
  • 1/2 cup red onion, finely diced
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and minced (use more for extra heat)
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare your peaches by dicing them into small, uniform pieces.
  2. Finely dice the red onion and mince the jalapeño. Remember to remove the seeds from the jalapeño unless you want significant heat.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the diced peaches, red onion, minced jalapeño, and chopped cilantro.
  4. Pour the fresh lime juice over the mixture.
  5. Sprinkle with salt.
  6. Gently toss all ingredients together until they are evenly mixed.
  7. Taste the salsa and adjust lime juice or salt as needed.
  8. Let the salsa rest for 5 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to combine.
