Make potato gnocchi crispy on the outside and soft inside using your air fryer. This recipe is fast, easy, and seasoned with garlic and Parmesan cheese.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (16 ounce) package shelf-stable or refrigerated potato gnocchi
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Place the gnocchi in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd the basket; cook in batches if necessary.
  2. Drizzle the olive oil over the gnocchi. Toss gently to coat evenly.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle this mixture over the gnocchi and toss again.
  4. Air fry at 380°F (195°C) for 10 minutes.
  5. Open the air fryer, shake the basket well, and continue cooking for another 3 to 5 minutes, or until the gnocchi are golden brown and crispy.
  6. Transfer the hot gnocchi to a bowl. Immediately sprinkle with the grated Parmesan cheese and toss to coat.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving. Serve plain or with marinara sauce.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, ensure the gnocchi are dry before tossing with oil. Pat them with a paper towel if they seem wet.
  • If you use frozen gnocchi, you may need to increase the cooking time by 2 to 4 minutes.
  • This recipe works well as a side dish or an appetizer with dipping sauce.
