Cook sweet corn on the cob in your air fryer until tender inside and slightly crispy outside. Finish with a simple garlic parmesan butter coating.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ears fresh corn, husks removed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (195°C).
  2. Lightly brush the corn cobs with olive oil.
  3. Place the corn cobs in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd; cook in batches if necessary.
  4. Air fry for 10 to 12 minutes, flipping the corn halfway through the cooking time, until the kernels are tender and slightly browned.
  5. While the corn cooks, prepare the topping: In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper.
  6. Once cooked, immediately brush the hot corn cobs generously with the garlic butter mixture.
  7. Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For extra char, increase the temperature to 400°F (200°C) for the last 2 minutes of cooking.
  • If using frozen corn, thaw it slightly first and pat it very dry before oiling and cooking. Cooking time may be slightly shorter.
  • To make a Mexican street corn (Elote) style, skip the Parmesan and instead brush with mayonnaise, then sprinkle with chili powder, cotija cheese, and lime juice after cooking.
