Make a quick, healthy ranch dip using Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise or sour cream. This recipe takes under five minutes to prepare.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (full fat or 2%)
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1-2 tablespoons milk or water (for thinning)

Instructions

  1. Place the Greek yogurt in a medium bowl.
  2. Add the dried parsley, dill, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and lemon juice to the bowl.
  3. Stir all ingredients together until they are fully combined and the spices are evenly distributed.
  4. Add milk or water, one tablespoon at a time, stirring after each addition until you reach your desired dipping consistency.
  5. Taste the dip and adjust salt or pepper if needed.
  6. Serve immediately or chill for 15 minutes for stronger flavor.

Notes

  • For a thicker dip, skip the added milk or water.
  • Use fresh herbs if you have them; use 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley and 1 teaspoon chopped fresh dill.
  • If you prefer a tangier dip, add a splash of apple cider vinegar instead of lemon juice.
